STYLES PARK

Styles Park is being developed on 120 acres of preserved natural land in northern Dawson County, transforming the undeveloped property into a passive recreation destination. Dawson County selected Ensite Civil Consulting, now part of Spicer Group, to lead the professional engineering and site design services for the park. Spicer Group developed a layout that maintains the land’s natural character while incorporating amenities needed for public use. The work included designing more than five miles of walking trails, a paved accessible trail segment, and designated mountain biking areas with features that take advantage of the site’s terrain.

Because the property previously had minimal utility service, Spicer Group coordinated new connections for drinking water, electricity, and septic service to support planned facilities. The project also includes a parking lot, benches, picnic spaces, and provisions for a future restroom building. Spicer Group provided design services, permitting support, utility coordination, and construction administration, advancing the County’s long-term vision for a nature-focused public park that serves residents, students, and outdoor users across Dawson County.
