Wayne County Bridge Inspections

Since 2018, Spicer Group has taken on the responsibility of conducting routine inspections, in-depth inspections, and load ratings in compliance with NBIS and MDOT policies for Wayne County and the Wayne County Department of Public Services. The County owns 231 (NBI) bridges requiring routine inspection a minimum of once every two years. Spicer professionals have not only served as team leaders but have also fulfilled the role of Load Rating Engineer, collaborating closely with Wayne County to develop, design, and implement emergency temporary supports to resolve critical findings. These findings have been meticulously documented utilizing MiBRIDGE RFA forms and following MDOT's process.
