WASTEWATER TREATMENT

Wastewater Treatment Practice Area

From lagoon treatment facilities to large mechanical wastewater treatment plants, Spicer Group has a long history of both designing new and upgrading existing treatment infrastructure for communities of varying sizes. Our Wastewater Practice Area consist of civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers who orchestrate the design process and then work alongside our construction engineers to ensure the designs are completed as expected.

Our engineers know that all communities are different, and budget limitations, projected population growth, and the current condition of treatment assets all play a key role in future treatment-related decisions. Therefore, we tailor our solutions to each client based on their specific needs.

What’s unique about Spicer Group is that in addition to having an in-house staff of treatment engineers, we also leverage off of our GIS and hydraulic modeling experts that can play a key role in identifying issues upstream of treatment facilities. Having this well-rounded team can save significant sums of money by helping our clients making strategic decisions with fact-based intel and confidently putting funds towards issues that need to be fixed first rather than later. Sometimes, fixing issues along the wastewater conveyance system such as I/I elimination and illicit connection reduction can have significant beneficial impacts to the treatment facility.
