SEBEWAING MAIN PARK DESIGN
Located in the heart of the Village of Sebewaing, this transformative project reimagines Main Park with accessible and engaging recreation opportunities for the community. Funded by a $1,000,000 Michigan Department of Natural Resources Spark Grant, the improvements include replacement of aging playscape equipment and the addition of a new walking path. The upgraded park will offer safe, inclusive play features designed to meet the needs of children of all abilities. Spicer Group partnered with the Village of Sebewaing to deliver grant writing and administration, topographic survey, design, bidding support, and construction administration services. The process included layout and grading plans, drainage design, soil erosion control measures, and weekly construction observation to ensure high-quality implementation. Spicer also supported grant compliance through plan submissions, cost estimating, contractor coordination, and reimbursement documentation. The revitalized park reflects Sebewaing’s commitment to outdoor recreation, accessibility, and long-term community investment.
