CITY OF OWOSSO RECREATION PLANNING

Spicer Group assisted the City of Owosso in updating their Parks and Recreation Master Plan to serve as a guide for future decision-making regarding facility improvements, park developments and new recreation opportunities. Owosso has a city area of 4.45 square miles and is located in the northwestern part of Shiawassee County, with a population of just under 15,000. It offers enhanced educational and cultural opportunities throughout its large park system. The Parks and Recreation Master Plan was established using survey results from residents within the City of Owosso as well as professional input to develop obtainable goals for the City to implement.
