New Drone Technology

The CHASING M2 is designed for professional applications and has eight thrusters that allow easy movement underwater in all directions. It comes equipped with a built-in 4K and 12 megapixel EIS image stabilization camera, and 4000 lumen LED lights. It also has attachments such as a claw and a laser scaler that are especially useful in measuring various deficiencies on a dam’s surface.

Dam Inspections

The Michigan Department of Environment Great Lakes, and Energy requires dam inspections every three to five years. Spicer Group can inspect your dam and complete all the required report and analyses to comply with the Dam Safety portions of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act. Your report will tell you the dam’s condition, spillway capacity, operational adequacy and structural integrity, along with the deficiencies identified that could lead to the failure of the dam and recommendations for maintenance, repair, and improvements.

Lake Level Control and Inspections

Lake Level Control inspections are required every three years and must be completed by a professional engineer. Spicer Group can assist you with developing a legal lake level and completing lake level inspections as part of the Inland Lake Levels portion of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act.
