Eric Rickert, PE, has been assisting state and local agency bridge owners with improving the condition of their bridge inventories and remaining compliant with current state and federal bridge inspection regulations for over two decades. He meets DOT and FHWA requirements for a Qualified Team Leader (QTL) under the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and has conducted and managed NSTM inspections, detailed inspections, scour inspections, underwater inspections, fatigue sensitive inspections, and load ratings for various DOT and local agencies. Mr. Rickert has experience in design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of various structure types including rolled and welded steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and timber.
