Village of Mayville Sanitary Sewer System Improvements
To address aging infrastructure and operational inefficiencies in its sanitary sewer system, the Village of Mayville partnered with Spicer Group for full-service engineering support. Spicer Group provided evaluation, design, permitting, funding assistance, and construction administration to help the Village modernize its wastewater infrastructure and improve long-term system performance.
The project began with a thorough assessment of the existing collection and treatment systems, which revealed outdated components and limited treatment capacity. Spicer Group worked closely with Village officials to develop a cost-effective plan for improvements and helped secure critical funding through the USDA Rural Development program, reducing the financial impact on the community.
Key improvements included upgrades to the sanitary sewer collection network, rehabilitation of essential infrastructure, and enhancements to the treatment facility to meet current regulatory requirements. These upgrades significantly improved system efficiency, reduced the risk of overflows, and ensured reliable service for residents.
Spicer Group’s involvement throughout each project phase—from planning to final construction—provided the Village with tailored engineering solutions, regulatory guidance, and funding expertise, ultimately delivering a more sustainable and compliant wastewater system.
