Bauer Drain

Originally established in 1946, the Bauer Drain spans 1.7 miles and services over 500 acres of land in Ingham County. The drain needed to be relocated due to its close proximity to a petroleum storage facility which put the water within the drain at risk of contamination. Spicer Group was hired by the Ingham County Drain Commission to relocate 3,200 feet of the open channel drain and replace it with enclosed storm sewer. Spicer Group provided design engineering, survey, construction administration, inspection, and staking work for this project.
