Survey Services


Spicer Group operates a full service surveying department providing assistance to clients, both public and private in residential, commercial, and industrial type projects for over six decades in Michigan.  To provide the best services to our clients, all surveys are performed using the latest available field and office equipment, including multiple GPS systems and Total Stations.  Spicer Group has experience in all aspects of surveying, including boundary, horizontal and vertical control, topographic, alignment, construction and as-built surveys. Our team also has extensive experience in calculations and mapping for a wide variety of projects. In addition, are field survey crews are continually trained on the latest surveying technology, including total stations and GPS, to obtain fast and accurate survey results.  We use the most current CAiCE, MicroStation, and AutoCAD software to perform survey calculations and integrate our survey information into final maps and drawings for clients, engineers, planners and architects. 

 

Currently, Spicer Group has seven (7) State of Michigan Licensed Professional Surveyors on staff, with a combined total of over 100 years of experience performing surveying services throughout the state of Michigan and the surrounding Great Lakes Region.  We are Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) prequalified in construction staking, road and bridge design surveying, hydraulic surveying, ground control and right of way surveying categories.  These licensed professionals are supplemented by survey crew chiefs, technicians, and survey project managers.  Our team of professional’s work together to provided detailed attention to projects of any size.
